Brief introduction of the subject
The objective of this course is to comprehensively and deeply guide students into the world of artificial intelligence. The main goals of the course design include: enabling students to understand the basic definition, development history, and principles of artificial intelligence, and cultivating their systematic grasp of the fundamental theories of AI ; through experiments and programming practices, cultivating students' practical operation skills in AI-related technologies; and helping students understand the ethical challenges faced by the development of AI, and cultivating their awareness and judgment of the social impact of AI technologies.
The course content covers the fundamental knowledge of AI, its applications in various fields, ethical challenges and social impact, as well as the practical operations of related technologies. The teaching approaches include theoretical classroom teaching, experimental operations, and project-based learning, primarily using the teaching materials developed by the school's teachers based on the content provided by the Education Bureau.
Through this course, students will not only master the basic theoretical knowledge of AI, but also develop critical thinking and innovative capabilities. The course achievements include student works winning awards in public competitions, as well as the design of AI-related works, such as a parent-child red envelope design competition.
