Moral and Civic Education
Purpose
- To help students understand their roles as citizens in relation to family, community, nation, and the world, fostering positive attitudes and values, enhancing their sense of belonging to Hong Kong and China, and encouraging contributions to society, the nation, and the world.
- To cultivate positive values, good character, civic qualities, personal aspirations, and a sense of responsibility towards family, community, country, and the world.
Objectives
- To nurture virtues such as perseverance, self-discipline, diligence, honesty, responsibility, and care.
- To provide comprehensive knowledge in sex education, national education, and health education, helping students build correct attitudes and values.
- To develop critical thinking skills for analyzing social and political issues, fostering rational judgment and responsible behavior.
- To promote national identity and patriotism by deepening understanding of Chinese culture and national conditions.
