Student Growth
Student Counseling

The main focus of the Student Guidance Team is to enhance students' awareness of mental health, strengthen their understanding of mental well-being, boost their resilience, and foster positive interpersonal relationships. We aim to help students build a healthy self-image and develop a positive and proactive attitude. In line with our school motto, "Faith, Hope, and Love", our guidance work targets the following objectives:

  • Pay attention to the growth of every student.
  • Assist students in building self-confidence and developing correct, positive values and life perspectives for healthy growth.
  • Help students resolve personal, family, interpersonal, and academic issues.
  • Strengthen the connection between students, parents, and the community.
  • Support teachers in handling students who need counseling.
  • Organize preventive and developmental counseling activities to nurture students' growth.

We aim to establish a healthy lifestyle for students by planning preventive, developmental, and targeted guidance work. This helps students develop positive emotions and a sense of well-being, thereby enhancing their mental health. We also hope to help students discover their strengths and develop a "Growth Mindset" through various activities. One of our key initiatives is the "4Rs Mental Health Charter", which introduces students to the 4Rs (Rest, Relaxation, Relationships, Resilience) to establish a healthy lifestyle. We hope to instill positive values and resilience in students through various school-wide activities, holistic development classes, homeroom sessions, workshops, and groups.

Additionally, our two social workers and guidance teachers regularly meet with students in need and collaborate with parents to support students in resolving personal, family, interpersonal, academic, and emotional issues. Our school social workers, Ms. Yeung Sau Kuen and Mr. Ng Wing Yan, not only counsel students but also conduct group activities and volunteer services. Their interventions involve collaboration with various systems (family, school, community) to provide comprehensive school social work services and help more students. Two guidance teachers are responsible for counseling students in each form. These teachers work closely with school social workers, the inclusive education team, and the school psychologist to ensure students receive the maximum support.
