School History
Founded in 1950, Tsung Tsin College was established by the Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong's Sham Shui Po Tsung Tsin Church. Originally located on Tai Po Road in Sham Shui Po, the school began as a non-profit private secondary institution before transitioning to full government subsidy status in 1978.
In 1992, the school relocated to Tuen Mun, initially offering only Form 1 and Form 4 classes. Within two years, it developed a complete secondary structure spanning Forms 1 through 5. Our Tuen Mun students sat for the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) for the first time in 1994, followed by the inaugural Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) in 1999 after establishing Form 6 in 1997. With educational reforms, our Form 6 students participated in the first Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination in 2012.
Over the past two decades, we have witnessed consistent improvement in both student quality and public examination results. In 2003, we became Hong Kong's first World Health Organization-recognized "Healthy School," reaffirming this honor in 2014. External School Reviews (ESR) conducted in 2006 and 2013 yielded highly positive evaluations across multiple domains.
With 50 years of educational service in Sham Shui Po and over 20 years in Tuen Mun, our reputation has grown steadily. Our alumni have achieved distinction across various professions locally and internationally. Remaining rooted in our Christian heritage while innovatively utilizing educational resources, we continue our mission to nurture talents for society.
