Curriculum and Learning Overview

Brief introduction of the subject

The ICT Department at TTC enhances students' computer literacy through core computing concepts, terminology, and hands-on robotics programming. Students will:

  • Gain essential knowledge of ICT systems and applications;
  • Develop creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills through robotics assembly, coding, app development, algorithm design, high-level programming, and web application development;
  • Become skilled, ethical, and adaptable ICT users, aware of digital trends and social issues;
  • Understand IT advancements and ICT's societal impact, fostering positive values.

 

Medium of instruction (e.g. English / Chinese / EMI)

The school primarily uses Chinese as the medium of instruction, while English is the teaching language for the English classes from Secondary 1 to Secondary 3.

 

Teaching and assessment methods

In the junior secondary level, coursework and continuous assessment form the basis for grading, while the senior secondary level follows the assessment model of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) for examinations.
